Happy February!

Despite the truncated calendar page, some people claim that February feels like the longest month! Around here, we revel in the fact that the cold weather gives us a good excuse to curl up at home with a favorite book. We invite you to do the same—fix a cup of cocoa, gather a few of our titles, wrap up in your favorite blanket and enjoy!

It’s a belated announcement, but we're happy to share that The Oppenheim Toy Portfolio has honored two books from our 'Babies Everywhere' series. CARRY ME was granted a Platinum Award and EATING THE RAINBOW was honored with both Gold and SNAP (Special Needs Adaptable Product) Awards. You can find more details here.

Gung Hay Fat Choy! As you welcome the Year of the Tiger this Chinese New Year, don’t forget that we have translated a number of our books into Chinese (both Simplified and Traditional)

When a very large baby is left on the steps of Town Hall, the villagers decide to raise the girl as their own. Oversized, but not under loved, Valentine wonders if there’s a match for her anywhere in the world. Lorna Balian’s A SWEETHEART FOR VALENTINE is a tall tale about finding true love— no matter your size.

Miriam Cohen asks readers to BEE MY VALENTINE when she returns to First Grade with Jim and his classmates. From the teacher’s announcement about exchanging cards to celebratory cupcakes, no preparations for the holiday are overlooked!

Set in the Bayou, TROSCLAIR AND THE ALLIGATOR is the perfect read to get you in the mood for Mardi Gras. Trosclair and his dog have the courage to explore the swamp, but will they have the smarts to outwit Gargantua, the alligator who has been keeping everyone at bay?

Happy Reading, Everyone!
