Cradle Me selected in CCBC Choices 2013!

We are happy to share with you that Cradle Me is selected as one of the best books of the year by Cooperative Children’s Book Center. CCBC is a highly respected children’s book research center based at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, “committed to identifying excellent literature for children and adolescents.”
CCBC Choices, the annual best-of-the-year list of the Cooperative Children’s Book Center, has been a highly recommended reference for the best children’s books of each year.
As you may well know, Cradle Me has received enthusiastic and wonderful reviews from librarians, educators, booksellers, and Native American communities. It’s a book that celebrates Native American tradition and families, showing how mothers carry their babies safely, comfortably and close to them in cradleboards. The bond between a mother and a child is shown in the brilliantly colored and decorated cradleboard, and they are also manifestations of enduring Native American craft cultures.
If you have not seen the book, take a look at it on our website, or check your local bookstores and libraries. You wouldn’t want to miss a book that you know you would love once you see it.
